Ms. Zimmerman is a true representation of a teacher and a tremendous asset to our county. She has devoted her life to education and the students who have been blessed to have her as a teacher constantly sing her praises. This is a reminder that picture day for Freshman through Junior students will be Monday September 12th.

Covid Guidelines for the 2022-23 School Year:
1. Positive COVID students are out for 5 days. They can return on day 6 if fever free for 24 hours and we recommend wearing a mask for day 6-10.
2. No contact tracing.
3. No quarantining contacts.
4. We will accept at home positive COVID tests for COVID absences. Parents need to send a photo of the positive test with the student's name and date tested to 304-642-9163.
5. Parents need to contact the school when they have a positive student. Assignments will be posted on Google classroom for grades 3-12 or paper pencil assignments for grades k-2.

Reminder Freshman Orientation today from 4:30-5:30 at TCHS.

We are pleased to inform you that students who took the West Virginia General Summative Assessment or the SAT School Day Assessment in spring 2022 will receive an email at their K12 student email account containing a link to an individual student video score report. Please have your child check his or her student email account tomorrow for the link. Simply click on the link and enter your child’s date of birth to access the video score report customized specifically for your child. Be sure to check out the links to resources that also are provided.
Paper copies of the results will also be sent home with your student during the first week of school.

Tucker County Schools will be hosting a Back to School Night on August 23rd from 3:30-6:00 join us for a back to school event. Come out and meet your new teachers, ask questions, and get a copy of your schedule.
Freshman orientation will be held during the event from 4:30-5:30.
